- Colour is safest: the Group-I notification asks for a recent colour photo

APPSC One Time Profile Registration form, “Photo & Signature Details”
Required Inclusions: Your name and the date the photograph was taken must be clearly printed on the photograph itself.
Photo: < 50 KB, 3.5cm (Width) x 4.5cm (Height)
Signature: < 30 KB, 3.5cm (Width) x 1.5cm (Height)
Must be taken without a cap or goggles (spectacles are permitted). Polaroid photos are not acceptable.

Questions
Do I need a new photo for every APPSC notification?
No. Notifications take your details from your OTPR, including the photo. Update the OTPR photo if it is old or was rejected.
Where should the name and date go?
The form asks for them to be printed on the photograph itself. We put them in a white strip along the bottom, inside the 3.5 × 4.5 cm frame.
Is my photo uploaded anywhere?
No. Everything happens inside your browser, on your phone or computer. Here is how to check it yourself.
Why is the file a little under the limit?
Portals count KB differently: some reject anything over 50,000 bytes for “50 KB”. We stay just under the smaller reading, so the file passes either way.
